This electric winch is capable of water resistance. The main unit and control box adopt sealed protection, making it suitable for off‑road conditions including rainy days and muddy wading. Most standard models achieve IP55 or IP67 protection rating, resisting rain spray and mud splashes, and minimizing electric leakage risks in humid outdoor environments. However, it cannot withstand prolonged deep‑water submersion. Short‑term shallow‑water wading is acceptable. Long‑time immersion will damage sealing components and lead to water‑induced failure of the motor and relays. After use, promptly clear away sediment and inspect sealing parts to extend the winch’s service life.
