5  Maintenance:

To ensure safety, the 9T VA lever hoist needs to be maintained regularly:

 1. Daily cleaning: After each use, the mud and ash layer on the chain and casing should be promptly removed and kept clean and dry.

 2. Regular lubrication: Lubricating oil needs to be applied to gears and bearings regularly. Please note during this period: the brake friction discs are strictly prohibited from being contaminated with any grease, otherwise it will cause brake failure and pose a safety hazard.

 3. Chain inspection: Check the chain for kinks, cracks, and wear. When the diameter is reduced to 90% of the original chain, a new original chain must be replaced.

 4. Brake test: A no-load test must be performed before each use to check whether the handle is flexible and whether the brake is intact.

Q1: Can the 9T VA lever hoist be overloaded?

A: Overloading is strictly prohibited. It can only lift heavy objects within 9T. Overloading will damage the machine parts and even cause breakage accidents. If it is necessary to carry people, the lifting capacity should be reduced to 1/3 of the rated value (ie 3 tons).

Q2: What should I do if the handle cannot be pulled during operation?

A: Stop the operation immediately. Check for overloading, kinked chains, or foreign objects stuck in the gears. Never force it.

Q3: Why can the chain pull quickly when there is no load, but it takes effort to pull the handle when the load is heavy?

A: This is normal. When there is no load, the brake clutch device is open, and the chain can easily move freely; when the load is heavy, the gear transmission and brake are locked, requiring manpower to overcome the heavy load.
