Installation Method of Steel Wire Rope for Electric Winch
1.Inspect the steel wire rope of 5T Electric Winch before installation to eliminate damage including broken wires, rust and twists; remove burrs and debris from the drum grooves.
2.Embed the rope end into the drum pressing plate groove, install two or more sets of pressing plates and tighten bolts to firmly lock the rope terminal.
3.Wind the rope by rotating the drum at low speed to ensure the steel wire rope is closely arranged in layers, avoiding rope overlapping, extrusion and deviation.
4.Reserve more than three circles of steel wire rope as safety margin at the drum end to prevent rope end slippage and failure under load.
5.Thread the steel wire rope through the guide pulley and lifting hook, adopt no less than three rope clamps for uniform tightening and control the installation spacing properly.
6.Conduct no-load trial run after assembly to check rope jamming and abnormal noise faults, verify the sensitivity of brake and limit devices. Formal hoisting construction can only start after confirming uniform stress on the steel wire rope.
